THE ROLE

The Centre for Conflict Resolution and Ethics (CCRE) and HR Legislated Program Team is responsible for the oversight, administration and management of complaint and feedback mechanisms for rights-based complaints, including but not limited to Employment Equity and Accommodations, Official Languages, Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention.

The Centre also provides informal conflict management services and policy advice and training on organizational values and ethical behaviour.


The Centre for Conflict Resolution and Ethics and HR Legislated Programs Team is seeking one Learning & Development Coordinator for a one (1) year assignment, ending on 31 March 2024.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Adult Education, Training and Development, Instructional Design or a related field, AND some years of experience in a related field

Experience

  • In assessing and identifying learning needs and requirements
  • In utilizing instructional design principles and practices
  • In using eLearning authoring packages
  • In using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • In designing and developing instructor lead classroom/eclassroom and selfdirected webbased training
  • In creating visual aids as support material for training courses
  • In providing advice and guidance
  • In researching and analyzing training methodologies and best practices
  • In collaborating with a diverse workforce with various business needs
  • In analyzing multipronged programs to identify and develop training programs and resources
  • In responding to changing workforce dynamics and regulations
  • In identifying and recommending areas for improvement and efficiencies
