About the Role:
Position: Cinematic/Moments Producer
Location: Vancouver, BC
Summary:
Ascendion seeks a Producer to join our Story team and craft exceptional, authentic, and thrilling narratives within our game.
In this role, you will lead a team of artists and designers in creating and integrating real-time cinematic moments. Working closely with our Story and Campaign directors, your team will merge gameplay and storytelling to deliver a seamless experience.
You will oversee task prioritization to maximize impact within set timelines and resources. Additionally, you will manage inter-team dependencies, synchronize schedules, and drive feature completion. Your role involves proactive risk management, milestone setting, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also establish and enforce team milestones and goals to maintain accountability.
As a part of the Production team, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan milestones, manage dependencies, and prioritize tasks
- Communicate goals effectively, inspiring the team to meet objectives promptly and maintain quality
- Proactively identify and address risks
- Collaborate across disciplines to plan and coordinate tasks
- Provide regular project updates to leadership
- Enhance task-related processes for efficiency
- Update capacity plans regularly
- Focus on team empowerment and project development
Qualifications:
- Possess a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for content creators and players
- Experience collaborating with narrative/mission/animation teams
- Proficient in modern project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, etc
- Enthusiastic about collaborating with designers, engineers, and content creators to empower problem-solving
- Experience leading cross-functional game teams through different phases (Pre-Production, Production, Finaling)
- Demonstrated experience in shipping AAA quality games
Salary Range: $ Annually - Factors affecting pay may include geographic location, market demand, skills, education, and candidate qualifications.
