Reporting to the Manager ‐ Cardiology & GeneralMedicine, the Ward Clerk will be responsible for providing a full

range of clerical support services for the 2C ‐ MedicalUnit.

Qualifications:

Client‐focused communication skills; good interpersonal,organizational, and telephone skills

Demonstrated good time management skills

Ability to "multi‐task" to ensure an effectiveclerical work flow process on a busy patient care unit.

Demonstrated ability to assist with unit budget process byutilizing effective supply purchase and inventory control

Initiative with the ability to work with a minimum ofsupervision

Working knowledge of medical terminology, processing medicalorders, payroll, admission and discharge, and

transfer process.

Previous Ward Clerk experience

Previous experience with gathering and compiling statisticaldata

Must have computer experience particularly the area of datacompilation and entry

Meditech training and competency in order entry in anelectronic format is required

Salary Range: $26.588 to 27.221
