Herchi Furniture is a highend Furniture company specialize in custom Italian furniture with two locations in Ontario (Barrie and Newmarket).

We are looking for a furniture delivery/ assembly/warehouse maintenance worker to join our team at our Warehouse in Barrie, Ontario.

You will be fundamental in the general maintenance of our high end showrooms.

Here are some of the qualities we're looking for and some of the tasks/responsibilities that our Maintenance/ Warehouse Team Member will be required to complete:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Diligent in completing assigned tasks
  • Experience in truck driving
  • Experience assembling/wrapping/shipping furniture preferred
  • Assemble furniture for the showroom or for customer pick up
  • Handle customer pick ups at the Stores/Warehouse
  • Organze warehouse for incoming containers
  • Handle customer inquiries on site when delivering

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company vehicle with a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Load and unload products in compliance with delivery procedures for type of product, quantity, and method of transport.
  • Maintain inventory control by verifying contents of packages.
  • Communicate with management about inventory levels.
  • Ensure that equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist with general cleaning duties as needed.
  • Maintain a safe driving record by following regulations, driving in a safe manner, and following the company vehicle policy for safe driving practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day.
