Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for aSenior IAM Project Manager to overseeproject processes and procedures as well as monitorthe productivity and performance of project team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:
  • Manageall aspects of projects
  • Set deadlines, assignresponsibilities, and monitorand summarizeprogress of project
  • Ensureadherence to project schedules and completion of project goals
  • Preparereports for upper management regarding status of project
  • Ongoing management of service management teams and performance metrics: identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy of processed requests and tickets
  • SLA and KRI management and reporting: ensuring these remain green and proactively manage new or emerging risks
  • Reporting: Maintainand evolveunified performance and volume metrics for Provisioning and Fulfillment functions within the team
  • Revitalize and update business user bundles, increase user uptake and integration within Access Controls
  • Communication: Present and consolidate results and key updates to Head of Access
  • Management and senior executives and steering committees
  • Internal User Community Engagement: Develop and host quarterly access forum on key topics, upcoming events, best practices to ensure captive audience in internal community and to improve stakeholder engagement
  • Ongoing process improvement and documentation: ensure regular review of access processes, documenting desktop procedures, ensuring documentation and digital footprint are kept up to date
  • Issues and Problem Resolution: Continuously identify and address proactively potential issues, conflicts, and risks, mitigating any business impact
Must-Have Skills:
  • Experience in IT Risk Management
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, VBA, Powerpoint design, public speaking and presentations, Tableau, Scrum and Agile knowledge, project management, KRI and KCI and management reporting
  • Senior experience within project/program management or direct transformation management experience
  • Ability to work in a matrixed and cross functional environment
  • Strong reporting experience, creating performance metrics and evaluating SLAs
  • Changemaker personality with the ability to communicate with influence and build lasting and productive relationships
  • Strategic thinking: ability to focus and take keen interest in understanding the business context, evaluate options and assess impacts of proposed changes to people and process
Nice-To-Have Skills:
  • Experience in IT Risk
  • Project Management certifications
  • Financial Services and Capital Markets experience
Soft Skills Required:
  • English (Oral and Strong Written), candidate will be interacting with executives and will be relaying business cases and other business communication on a regular basis
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology related subject matter area, Access Management, Identity Access Management
