Job Description:

The Senior Underwriter / Team Lead oversees daily activities and performance management of underwriting team, focusing on Commercial Liability programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead team performance through coaching and development
  • Review risk submissions within authority limits
  • Prepare submissions for underwriting review
  • Coach brokers for success and improvement
  • Ensure proper documentation and risk analysis
  • Uplift technical knowledge through training and mentorship

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of underwriting experience
  • CIP Certification or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective problem solver with analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Committed to team-based environments
  • Ability to handle confidential material with discretion
