Quality System Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the standardization of processes and drive closure of nonconformances.
  • Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 standards by working with the crossfunctional team within the organization.
  • Develop, schedule and perform ISO9001 annual internal audits with all departments within the organization.
  • Create and follow up on corrective actions related to the audits results.
  • Champion continual improvement activities in relation the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Prepare for annual 3rd party ISO audits and ensure follow up corrective actions are completed as established.
  • Direct involvement in regulatory audits and ensuring that the required regulatory requirements are met.
  • Complete any other auditing related duties as assigned.
  • Assist Quality team in data reporting and analysis (First Pass Yield, PPM's).

Background and Skill

  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering, or related work experience
years of relevant quality experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Thorough understanding of ISO9001 requirements
  • Certified Lead Auditor
  • Certified Quality Engineer
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
