About this opportunity:


The
Corporate Strategy Intern will have the exciting opportunity to work in Celestica's highly motivated Corporate Strategy team in a stimulating and challenging work environment with opportunities to develop skills.

This role is specific to students who are currently enrolled in a Business, Engineering, Finance, or Marketing program and have completed their 3rd year of studies.


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem solving skills (i.e., breakdown problem into discrete questions and solve using quantitative/qualitative methods)
  • Solid command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g., interact professionally, collaboratively, and independently with internal stakeholders)
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and able to push through as a solutionsoriented, determined selfstarter
  • Demonstrates confidence, transparency, ethical behaviour, and comfort voicing opinions in a professional and respectful way
  • Strong desire to work with people who are driven, intelligent, conscious of selfdevelopment, and wanting to make an impact

  • Previous experience presenting in front of a large audience considered an asset

Activities:

  • Conduct market research in support of key strategic projects for the Corporate Strategy team
  • Support research requests from the Market Segment teams (e.g., industry trends, competitive dynamics, company profiles, opportunity development workshops)
  • Contribute to key deliverables for the Strategic Planning Process (e.g., biannual Market Analysis Package)
  • Support the development and administration of the Market Research Program
