The Information Services Division at ICBC is seeking a Senior Developer to join their applications team.

  • Lead the enhancement and maintenance of online tools used by teams, partners, and customers.
  • Utilize expert skills in web and mobile friendly development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical knowledge for software application design, configuration, and delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve production problems.
  • Estimate for business cases and projects.
  • Develop automation methods and identify system capacity requirements.
  • Act as a lead for development team members.

This position requires 5+ years of hands-on experience or relevant education in computer science.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in Java/C#/C++, SQL/Oracle, XML, and more.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and Dev-Ops.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, application debugging, and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with industry best practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire, Outsystems, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with mobile application development is a plus.
