FINANCE SUPPORT IV
Payroll_ Full-Time_- ***:_Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this position is responsible for day-to-day payroll processing and benefit administration. The Finance Support IV
  • Payroll is responsible for payroll input and maintaining documentation according to the Alliance and legislative requirements. Integrity and strong attention to detail are crucial for this role._

SALARY:_ _$33.25 to $34.85 per hour_
QUALIFICATIONS:_

  • Completion of a twoyear postsecondary Business Finance Diploma from an accredited Ontario Community College or Registered Private College._
  • Professional designation (Payroll Compliance Professional [PCP] Certification) with the National Payroll Institute._

EXPERIENCE:_

  • Minimum two years recent related experience working with a computerized inhouse payroll system._
  • Experience with payroll administration in unionized, multiple cost centres environment_
  • Experience with Meditech payroll module and processes preferred_

ABILITIES:_

  • Ability to work independently and respond to multiple changing demands and changing priorities_

  • Ability to provide information, guidance, and explanations in a clear, concise manner_
  • Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanour_
