Alimentaria is a project were we showcase Mexican culture and ingredients, we produce tacos made with heirloom corn, fresh salsas, ceviches, aguachiles, tostadas, churros, mulitas and much more, working with meat and seafood sourced locally.
Job descriptionFollows directions and instructions while assisting in all aspects of line cooking, plating and preparation of food.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Maintain and coordinate inventory of food, supplies and equipment.
Maintain clean kitchen and work area.
Setting up work station at 9AM.
Follow recipes and procedures to have a consistent product.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a line cook position.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Must be available to work mornings, weekends and holidays.
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more
