Armour Alloys is a flat-rolled specialty metals distributor based out of Cambridge. We are currently seeking a Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making phone calls out, visiting with customers, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls/emails and customer visits
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
  • Manage a specific territory and customers within it
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales Representative to ensure orders and customer requirements are met
  • 80-100% of weekly time spent on the road visiting customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • At least 3 - 5 years' of metal sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
