Manual Machinist

Responsibilities

  • Ability to operate manual lathes and mills, and associated machinery such as saws, sanders, grinders, etc.
  • Perform assembly work and torch brazing.
  • Occationally operate CNC equipment.
  • Analyze work orders, drawings, and/or specifications to verify all part requirements and determine the most efficient method for production.
  • Use gauges and various measuring tools to ensure part quality and complete related quality records neatly and accurately.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines according to maintenance schedules and ensure machines and their surroundings are kept clean.
  • Adhere to all ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications
Certificate of Qualification as Machinist or equivalent

Minimum 5yrs experience

Skills Required:

  • Close attention to detail
- well organized and maintain neat and tidy work environment
- work both independently and as part of a team
- good communication

$26.00-$32.00 per hour
