Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional value in a diverse corporate commercial practice advising on various real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing sound business advice
  • Creating and reviewing legal documents, including Agreements of Purchase and Sale, leases, and closing documents
  • Offering legal guidance on zoning laws, land use regulations and contractual obligations
  • Act as a trusted legal advisor to entrepreneurial and owneroperator clients
  • Be resourceful and possess the passion and creativity of an entrepreneur
  • Effectively manage a busy practice ensuring timely responsiveness to client needs
  • Provide innovative solutions that advance client goals and interests while protecting against legal risks
  • Strive for service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Possess interest, ability or experience to retain clients and develop new business

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of practice in BC and in good standing with the Law Society of BC
  • Excellent analytical skills, business sense, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal and external professionals
  • Results driven, analytical, selfmotivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to issues
