Position, Duties/Responsibilities

As Senior Travel Consultant, you shall provide customers with creative and timely travel solutions, using available tools and technology and perform such duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote, maintain and deliver the highest level of customer service
  • Be a good seller persuasive, positive and perceptive
  • Be able to gain the customer's trust
  • Be organized, flexible and committed
  • Be a solution provider
  • Be professional and well represented
  • Proactively sell ancillary services to customers e.g. Pre/Post Hotels, Car Rental, Attractions, Airport Parking and Lounge, Insurance etc.
  • Expert in booking leisure travel including but not limited to; Bespoke Itineraries, Packaged Holidays, Group Travel, Cruise, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Insurance
Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years, work experience in a Canadian travel agency
  • Sales of $300,000
  • TICO Certified
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop would be an asset
  • Postsecondary education in Travel and Tourism, or related field would be an asset
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
Schedule

The days and hours worked may vary and have to change depending on the needs of the business.

A typical work week is:

  • 10am 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • 10am 3pm Saturday (rotating basis)
