You'll need to establish a collaborative and "customer-first" relationship with our clients and work with our other departments to set realistic milestones and timely responses.

Having sales acumen and organizational skills is an absolute must.

We have systems to help us stay on-top of performance metrics, but we need someone that looks a week, two weeks or a month ahead and finds opportunities for better customer engagements and sales trips.

You're the right fit if you take extra steps to check the quality of our customer-facing creatives and marketing work to ensure it fits the feedback and needs you have from your clients.

Actively research and identify potential clients using various resources to generate leads, attending industry events, and networking to build a robust pipeline.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by regularly engaging to understand needs, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service, with the goal of repeat business and referrals.

Be well-versed in the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the equipment being sold and able to articulate how it addresses the unique needs of each client to build credibility/confidence in the product.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

Keep track of sales metrics, performance, and progress towards targets, including managing leads, sales activity and opportunities in Salesforce.

Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out new and large opportunities
Regularly provide sales reports to senior management, detailing achievements and strategies for growth.
Participate in setting ambitious but achievable sales goals for both personal and company development.
Manage all phases of the sales cycle from cold calling, to creating quotes, to negotiating deals.
Assist at trade shows and other marketing events.
Stay up-to-date on solar industry news, changing regulations and incentives, and engage in webinars.
2+ year track record of sales performance in a similar B2B industry.
~ Solar industry experience is an asset.
