Supervisory Officer qualifications or experience in supporting Mathematics Teaching and Learning OCT Certificate of Qualification in mathematics (must be in good standing) Classroom experience in teaching math at various grade levels Experience in instructional mathematics educator teacher coaching Experience in being a math associate teacher and NTIP math teacher mentor Experience in building educator and administrator capacity in mathematics learning and teaching Experience in facilitating job-embedded educator professional learning opportunities in math Experience in implementation of high-impact instructional practices Ability to inform, monitor and provide timely reporting of progress towards math achievement and targets Ability to support K to 12 Board-wide actions to meet math achievement targets Ability to implement / align parent math resources Special Education Specialist and Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction Specialists Working with schools in meeting EQAO grade 3, 6 and 9 provincial math standards Work directly with educators to strengthen math teacher knowledge and support consistent and intentional implementation of high-impact instructional practices and early intervention strategies Willingness to work as part of a Board / school team.
