About the role: Join the Commercial Solutions Team to contribute to the stability of the housing finance system. As Specialist, Securitization Policy, you will utilize research and analytical skills to enhance CMHC's mortgage funding programs.
What you'll do:
- Develop strategies and policies for CMHC's Mortgage funding activities
- Research capital market trends and provide recommendations
- Monitor strategy effectiveness and results measurement
- Prepare communication materials for various audiences
- Interpret policies and provide advice regarding mortgage funding programs
- Collaborate on strategies and risk management practices
What you should have:
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or finance
- 5+ years of capital markets experience, preferably in securitization products
- Experience in strategy and policy development aligning with objectives
- Proficiency in financial tools like Bloomberg, Power BI, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional accreditation in securities or accounting designation
