Safety - Drivers have the Right to Decide and assess the situation to determine if it's safe to drive

Equipment - Bison tractors are on average under two years old; three years for trailers

Compensation - Safe mile bonus paid quarterly, regional premiums, fuel subsidy, benefits and more

Position Profile:

  • Edmonton City deliveries with intraAlberta work as needed
  • Monday to Friday 0800 to 1000 start, start time and shift length will vary
  • Some days might be strictly city and intraAlberta depending on customer requirements
  • Some Driver loading and unloading as required (hand bomb freight). Must be able to lift 75 lb. or more
  • Hours and days of work might change from time to time according to operational demands
  • Operation of a powerjack with training required
  • Additional work might be available upon request
  • Edmonton City JPC contract applies
  • Open to owner operator with tractortrailer experience
  • Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
  • Must have experience with reefer trailers
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must be able to haul all commodities; including meat and alcohol
  • Valid Class 1/AZ Licence is required
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
