Gibson Consulting Services Ltd., a division of The Gear Centre Group of Companies, is currently seeking a General Labourer/Core Dirver to join our team.

Position Overview
This position is an integral part of the efficient day-to-day operations of the facilities management team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliveries (Edmonton & surrounding areas). Travel to outoftown branches (accommodations & travel provided)
  • Drive vehicles & equipment: Halfton truck, oneton truck & trailer (manual), scissor lift, forklift, skidsteer, front loader
  • Secure loads on trailers (equipment & misc. items)
  • Building Maintenance: Drywall, painting, minor plumbing & electrical
  • Install T-Bar ceilings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior general maintenance experience is a must
  • Must be able to travel out of town for the day and/or overnight(s) as required
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable abstract
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines and timelines
