Technical Inside Sales Representative in Milton

Our client, a prominent manufacturer of industrial conveyor belting based in Milton, is in need of a Technical Inside Sales Rep to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will support manufacturing and packaging companies throughout the entire sales process. This includes handling initial calls, preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating with manufacturing, and ensuring timely delivery.
To excel in this opportunity, you must possess the technical proficiency to analyze drawings and create detailed quotes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales or technical inside sales, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities:
- Focus on selling and promoting core products
- Prepare and deliver quotes to customers and Sales Representatives
- Utilize ERP System for various tasks such as creating Part Numbers and BOMs
- Review customer RFQs and offer optimal solutions
- Support in managing customer records
- Interpret technical drawings and measurements in both imperial and metric units
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience of 1-3 years in Conveyor Belting / Manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Skilled in technology usage, problem-solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management, and interpersonal relations
