We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as the Resident Care Manager

As the Resident Care Manager, you will enrich lives every day by utilizing your education and experience to oversee the licensed care staff working in our Memory Care neighborhood, ensuring residents receive the highest level of dignity and care.

You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself and your team of caregivers by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members

  • Have a commitment to Touchmark's values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers.
  • Have experience in an assisted living environment, preferably in a management role
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of resident care, employee development, and continued quality improvement in our licensed care neighborhoods
  • Be willing to work occasional weekend and holiday shifts
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Requirements:

  • Have a current LPN designation in Alberta;
  • Have experience in geriatric setting;
  • Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 50 pounds
