Materials Handler

Reporting to the Logistics & Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of MRCU materials, parts, supplies and equipment related to MRCU products.

You maintain stock and distribute materials to various departments within the assembly process.

Key Functions & Duties

  • Drives forklift, loads and unloads trucks
  • Expedites flow of goods between assembly, storage and dock areas
  • Loads and separates material according to instructions in a timely and safe manner
  • Stores materials and supplies in proper storage locations
  • Assists in filling assembly orders and stock requisitions
  • Selfmotivated
  • Cycle counts parts accurately
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Willing to take direction and comply with all safety regulations
  • Experience with RF/Handheld equipment is preferred.
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience in inventory management, warehousing or shipping & receiving required
  • A forklift certificate is required
  • A driver's license is required

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Forklift Licence (required)
