What you'll do:


The
Procurement Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing all procurement, inventory management, planogram, and logistics for one of our clients.

This role will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, streamlining purchasing and delivery ensuring effective and efficient management of inventory and procurement.

This role will be the owner of competitive bidding, vendor negotiations and supporting our operations director.

The Situation:We're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager, in this role you will be responsible for driving financial performance and inventory productivity. You will partner closely with our Director of Operations to develop category strategies, to create merchandise financial plans, and in supporting assortment plans. Additionally, you'll align closely with our client and their sales team to develop and execute category strategies based on customer feedback to achieve financial goals and business objectives.

A little more about the role:

  • Provide in-depth analysis of product performance and make recommendations to maximize business opportunities and margins
  • Manage and maintain instore planograms and merchandising elements to ensure reflect product roadmap
  • Manage allocations and inputs into the forecasting and replenishment systems
  • Manage and lead promotional and pricing events/activities to drive sales and ensure products lifecycle is accurate and current
  • Mange and lead kiosk layout and Visual Merchandising including demo products and MOD execution
  • Develop merchandise financial/store plans and opentobuy
  • Develop and execute financial/assortment analytics and reporting
  • Mange and develop allocation strategy
  • Accountable for managing replenishment
  • Ensure the completion of team deliverables and set/adhere to team budgets
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decisionmaking processes
  • Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch customer solutions
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years retail experience or equivalent business-related experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team
  • Ability to analyze and utilize financial and their impact to the business
  • Microsoft Teams Experience
  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain productive and cohesive, strong relationships
  • Ability to communicate ideas and influence management, peers, direct reports and crossfunctional business partners
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to deal with change and uncertainty
  • Demonstrate solid problemsolving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, multitask and complete projects
