Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
  • Handle and store food products properly to prevent contamination
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
  • Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen
  • Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Experience working in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting
  • Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including cooking, baking, and grilling
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal service

Job Type:

$16.55-$17.00 per hour
