We are looking to expand our accounting team by adding an Accounting Clerk to assist with the daily operational tasks.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and post vendor invoices in the ERP system.
  • Prepare Vendor payments.
  • Verify and process employee personal expenses.
  • Prepare bank wires returns, recalls, and trace requests.
  • Prepare stop payments and verify that the cheques for which stop payment requests are issued are appropriately voided in the ERP system.
  • Maintain the Open trades spreadsheet (review transactions, confirm trades with third parties, and process the trades in the ERP system).
  • Support the Customer Service Representatives with their tickets concerning banking requests.
  • Assist the accounting team with other tasks as they arise.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Vocational Certificate in Accounting or Finance an asset.
  • Preferably bilingual.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Autonomous, able to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and ERP software (Navision experience
