  • Build trusting relationships with clients and accurately understand their insurance and retirement needs
  • Stay connected with various stakeholders including senior leaders, clients, other stakeholders, and partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by expanding client base, identifying market trends, and even developing new products and services to satisfy client and market needs
  • Drive organic growth by scoping out and identifying opportunities for mergers and acquisitions
  • Be responsible for the financial performance of the division by managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving revenue and profitability targets
  • Lean into technology to streamline processes, improve client experience, and enhance efficiencies operationally
  • Stay compliant with regulations and laws and be able to identify any risks associated with insurance claims, investments, and other parts of the business
  • Stay up to date and informed about industry trends, competitors and being able to adapt strategies where required
