**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Work with the team in developing and implementing communications, marketing plans to support CAO's strategic directions.

**WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA**
- Monitor the website content (publicfacing and restricted areas) to ensure it is up to date and reflects the latest public relations information, education or advocacy campaigns, members services or any CAO initiative
- Work closely with staff, contractors to design and produce content (text, video, infographics, posters, etc.)
- Edit, manage regular updates both in English and French
- Support and execute the Association's social media strategy including: Content production

ensure alignment with the editorial calendar, public awareness campaigns
monitor community engagement

**PUBLIC RELATIONS**
- Support the development and implementation of the editorial calendar and plans to elevate specific practice areas or activities
- Participate in implementing PR campaigns with staff and contractors
- Execute media resources and materials including Q/A documents, media lists, media clippings
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials for education, research or advocacy purposes in accordance with branding guidelines

**EVENTS (IN-PERSON OR ONLINE)**
- Support the biennial CAO Congress preparation with staff and contractors (promotional collateral, participation in logistics, interactions with attendees, represent CAO at the event as required)
- Assemble collateral and develop key messages for CAO involvement in tradeshows / conferences

**MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS**
- Assist in the creation and update of member marketing materials (newsletter, brochures, member services information)
- Produce and update presentations, quarterly reports to Council and /or membership
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of communications to satisfy member requirements

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A relevant college diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent experience, additional education and training in a related field
- Key skills: Self-motivated with excellent organization and execution skills

Bilingual - English and French (Fluent reading, writing and speaking proficiency)
Attention to detail (editing/proofreading in web and print, maintaining data)
Ability to work well with all levels of the organization and diverse stakeholders
Advanced skills in using computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in creating and managing channel-specific content for social media
Knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Acrobat Professional or Canva)

Travailler avec l'équipe à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de plans de communication et de marketing pour soutenir les orientations stratégiques de l'Association. **SITE WEB ET MEDIA SOCIAUX**
- Gérer le contenu du site web (pages accessibles au public et à accès restreint) pour s'assurer qu'il est à jour et qu'il reflète les dernières informations disponibles, les campagnes d'éducation ou de plaidoyer, les services aux membres ou toute initiative de l'ACO.

- Soutenir l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre du calendrier éditorial et des plans visant à mettre en valeur des domaines ou des activités spécifiques.
- Participer à la mise en œuvre de campagnes de sensibilisation du public avec l'équipe et les soustraitants.
- Concevoir des ressources et du matériel pour les médias, notamment des documents de questionsréponses, des listes de médias et des coupures de presse.
- Aider à la création de matériel de marketing à des fins d'éducation, de recherche ou de défense des intérêts, conformément à la charte graphique de l'Association.

**EVENEMENTS (EN PRESENTIEL OU VIRTUEL)**
- Contribuer à la préparation du congrès biannuel de l'ACO avec l'équipe et les sous-traitants (matériel promotionnel, logistique, interactions avec les participants, représentation de l'ACO à l'événement au besoin).
