How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks.

With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.

You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed.

You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

The
Cashier/Stockperson/Packer , under the direction of the Company Store Coordinator, is responsible for safe cash handling, preparing, stocking, and merchandising products, unloading delivery trucks, and upholding exceptional customer service skills with the public, while maintaining positive employee relations.


You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment and capable of the defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 23 kg/50 lbs.
  • Operating machines with coaching
  • Safety and quality standards for operating machines
  • Reading and writing, and fluently conversant in the language of communication as appropriate to the site
  • Collaborating well in a diverse work environment

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Adaptable and demonstrated ability to quickly master new tasks and skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional English communication skills required, both verbal and written.
  • Occasional use of pump truck is required.
  • Computer skills are required for POS (point of sale) system and MS Office.
  • Ensure proper personal hygiene, clean uniforms, and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Follow all HS&E procedures/policies and that Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of work areas.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the company store coordinator.

Primary Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Operate a POS (point of sale) system during rotated times per shift; downtime utilized through preparing and/or stocking products.
  • Scanning products in the POS system and ensuring pricing is accurate.
  • Record inventory transactions accurately while ensuring FEFO is followed.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of sales prior to the store opening.
  • Prepare bulk product, label, and stock items.
  • Merchandising products: stock shelves and bins with cartons and/or bulk packaged product.
  • Make signage and ensure the appropriate labels are affixed to products
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and place in appropriate locations (store front, prep area, and/or warehouse).
  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and/or complaints.
  • Report any unsafe condition to the Store Coordinator
  • Must take direction from Store coordinator or any competent person regarding any reasonable requirement for the purpose of achieving manufacturing goals, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • 12 years' experience working in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Lifting will be required (up to 23 kgs)
  • Forklift and/or handheld license preferred.
  • Work requires a high level of physical effort in bending, lifting, and manual dexterity in fastpaced environment.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to work in a safe and competent manner
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to follow all GMP guidelines and safety programs.
