Responsibilities and Duties:
- Customer Service
- Deliver top-notch customer service and ensure a consistent focus on meeting customer and vehicle requirements.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, whether over the phone or in person.
- Comprehend customer needs and offer comprehensive solutions.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance the customer experience at the Service Centre.
- Handle customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage effective communication with customers throughout repair or maintenance processes.
Operations
- Review and finalize repair orders with customers.
- Provide cost and time estimates for service and repair needs, ensuring alignment with the final invoice and on-time delivery of vehicles.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, overseeing work order statuses.
- Schedule service and repair appointments efficiently.
- Utilize computerized work order systems effectively.
- Engage in continuous learning and coaching to enhance personal skills.
- Share potential opportunities and suggestions with the Service Manager to drive profitability and sales at the Automotive Service Centre.
- Adhere to company, store, and department policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with market trends in the automotive service sector.
- Understanding of mechanical components in vehicles.
- Proficiency in auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems.
- Basic math and keyboarding proficiency.
- Familiarity with CoStar is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a similar role, specifically in a Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre, is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license for the relevant province.
