We are looking for Lead Mechanics to lead our team of Mechanics and Senior Mechanics while helping to maintain our fleet of shared vehicles.

Teamwork is at the heart of our operation, as mechanics work together to identify critical parts of our product lines that can be improved and ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.

Onboard, train, and lead a team of Mechanics and Senior Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficient
Evaluate and provide feedback to manager on team performance
Ensure operational compliance and safety of all vehicles by completing quality checks prior to their departure from the warehouse for deployment
Ensure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and parts
Manage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and more
Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles
May assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly
Identify issues and perform small repairs on vehicles in field from brake adjustments to vehicle cleaning to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition
Perform in warehouse repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
Safely operate a van to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within the local market as needed
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record
~Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
~ An understanding of workforce management to help Ops Management ensure efficient staffing
~ Ability to use data to inform decision making; and understand KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to make an impact
~ Knowledge of cell phone applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks
~ A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks
~ This is a contracted position that will be hired, managed, and compensated through a third-party employer. The hourly rate for this position is CAD. This position is not eligible for benefits through Lime as this is a contract position.
