What You'll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of our sales team, inspiring and guiding them to success
  • Drive rental revenue and profit objectives to new heights
  • Track and Improve: Monitor sales performance against plan, conduct regular sales meetings, and initiate impactful sales campaigns
  • Manage rental rates and continuously strive to improve rate and utilization
  • Maintain close communication with branch operations personnel to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
  • Assist the Credit Department in their collection efforts
  • Collaborate with Fleet Management to pursue lucrative equipment sales opportunities
  • Keep everyone in the loop by reporting monthly on key sales activities and outcomes against the plan
  • Develop sales strategies for key market segments, contributing to the company's overall growth
  • Become highly involved in our marketing strategy through networking events, social media, and industry campaigns
What You'll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in the construction equipment rental industry or equivalent, with at least 6 years of Sales Management experience
  • Strong time management, presentation, and negotiating skills
  • Broad knowledge of construction equipment is an asset
  • Strong ability to lead and inspire a team
  • A business undergraduate degree would be a significant asset
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI is an asset
  • Availability to travel regularly throughout the region; this is primarily a fielddriven position
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fastpaced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with customers, employees, and other parties at all levels of the organization in a professional manner
