Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the MP2 Coordinator provides administration and support services to the Maintenance Department.

Key accountabilities

  • Accountable for accurate recording and entering data and work order requests into the Maintenance Program.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining part supplies as per the Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Accountable for cleaning and organizing work area and keeping files.
  • MSDS/SDS update, involving the search for MSDS/SDS, maintaining the list and updating binders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance department.
  • Basic math skills and general knowledge of tools and parts (electrical, plumbing, mechanical and technical.)
  • Basic skills in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and previous experience with maintenance software (MP2, CMM or others) is an asset.
  • Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
