The Public Relations Coordinator's focus is on maintaining a positive reputation between our organization and the community we serve.

With oversight of the H&R MFRC image and brand, they are responsible for public facing communication that raises awareness of our mission and vision.


We are looking for a creative individual who is innovative and forward thinking in their approach to marketing and engaging communities.


  • Strong digital marketing skills with knowledge and experience of traditional marketing.
  • Superior knowledge of Mac/Windows systems; and technical skills in MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (CC), social media platforms and website content management systems.
  • Strong skills in public speaking.
  • Superior verbal and written language and communication skills.
  • Selfdirected to achieve outcomes.
  • High degree of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong project management, timemanagement, and organizational skills.
  • Graphic design capabilities, photography and videography skills assets.
  • Flexible to attend a range of events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of the military lifestyle is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing or related experience and education.
  • 3 years' experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • A valid driver's license: to meet requirements to drive the H&R MFRC vehicle.
