Reporting to the Senior Accountant, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
  • Analyze and interpret financial information including accounting period ends
  • Complete reconciliations and other reports
  • Provide all Team Leaders with accurate reporting analysis
  • Assist with Annual budgeting and forecasting functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

  • You have an Accounting Degree or combination of schooling and relevant experience
  • A CPA designation or on the path to obtaining a CPA designation is considered an asset
  • You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
  • Proven systems and technical expertise; CRS Legacy system and JDE experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office; with an emphasis on Excel
