Job Description:

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL:

  • Lead the Monthly Demand Meetings with all regions and VP's and drive analysis, evaluation, and conversation to ensure an accurate Demand Plan is released through the next step of the S&OP Process
  • Lead Demand planners to establish, maintain and utilize proper statistical modeling of Demand from the Oracle forecasting tool.
  • Provide leadership and coordination for all demand planning functions, serving as the key demand link between sales, operations, and finance.
  • Develop, document, update and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan. Highlight key changes to the plan during demand review meetings.
  • Process owner for the Executive S&OP process that facilitates/leads the monthly process by coordinating and developing the presentation that integrates Demand & Supply
  • Responsible for all related action planning and presentation back to the CEO & Executives
  • Measure and provide contextual insight and recommendations to deliver a robust Volume Forecast through performance and trend analysis. Drive the conversation with Sales to come to an approved consensus forecast for monetarization and sign off
  • Ensure linkage between the individual business plans and the company objectives. Provides analysis of gaps and recommendations for gap closure.
  • Supervision of Demand Planners/Supply Chain Analysts
  • Develop and coach the team on industry best practices.
  • Drive employee engagement
  • Report on Key Forecast KPIs and Metrics including Forecast Accuracy and Bias
  • Utilize information to drive continuous improvement to performance
  • Document and execute process flows, rules, and standards relevant to Inventory Management & Demand Planning

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 5+ years direct experience with S&OP or Integrated Business Planning
  • Experience with MRP, large scale ERP, & planning systems
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel and data visualization tools
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the upstream and downstream Supply Chain process
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions
  • Comfortable with teambased work structure
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
