What you will do

  • Support and maintain an internal news flow for Ottawa site through newsletter and SharePoint page
  • Support site events, including allemployee/leader meetings, executive/government site visits, and customer visits
  • Evaluate and propose new ways of internal communication, such as use of Teams and Viva Engage channels
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications to help improve our strategies

You will bring

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments and levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of best practices in internal communications and employee engagement
  • Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia content creation tools is considered an asset
