Job Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring support in various settings.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare meals and ensure dietary requirements are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
  • Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, such as dementia care or senior support
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members

Requirements:

  • Experience in senior care, home care, assisted living, or related fields is preferred
  • Knowledge of medication administration and basic healthcare practices
  • Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to individuals in need
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Understanding of caregiving principles and practices
  • Certification in caregiving or related field is a plus

Job Type:
Part-time

Pay:
$16.55-$27.36 per hour
