We are currently hiring an Order Entry Clerk for a well established company in Stoney Creek. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills and be looking to gain experience in administration. A great attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems is an asset.

Advantages

Responsibilities

  • Processing and Entering purchase orders
  • Processing and reviewing invoices
  • Management of email in boxes
  • Monitoring of EDI system
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders
  • Customer communication and feedback
  • Monitor/track shipments
  • Report on shorts/late shipments
  • Set up new items in ERP
  • Assist with annual inventory count
  • Additional administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, ERP Software)
Superior communication skills utilizing tact and diplomacy and professionalism at all times

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly flexible – able to adjust quickly in a varied environment
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Energetic and eager to learn product knowledge
  • Confident in making sound decisions
  • Must be self motived and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
