Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide fire protection, firefighting and other emergency services
  • Preform required duties at the station and onsite as per SOP's
  • Operate company vehicles safely and conduct pre/posttrip inspections
  • Set up and maintain all equipment as per SOP's
  • Complete and submit daily paperwork
  • Participate in safety meetings and coordinate plans with onsite representatives
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
  • Maintain required tickets and certifications
  • Other duties as assigned

Prerequisites:

  • NFPA 1001 Level II
  • NFPA 472 or 1072 Ops
  • CPR/AED Level C
  • H2S Alive
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • Clean criminal background history and vulnerable sector check
  • Clean driver abstract
  • Grade 12 or equivalent

Preference for:

  • Previous experience as a firefighter
  • Previous experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Previous experience in a trade
  • Previous experience driving heavy trucks

Unlimited Safety Services' goal is to provide excellent service to its clientele and community. We pride ourselves upon creating safe work environments for customers and our employees.

A bi-weekly salary is provided to full-time employees. Day-rates are given on top of salary to employees working in the oil field.

Must speak fluent english and be entitled to work in Canada.

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

Licence/Certification:

  • Alberta Class 3Q or provincial equivalent (preferred)
  • NFPA 1001 Level II
