Duties:

  • In conjunction with the Project Manager assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project success
  • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate effective communication among team members
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
  • Support the evaluation and selection of vendors and contractors
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports for management
  • Provide safety leadership through implementation of GMR Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of project team and subcontractors
  • Review and analyse costs and identify revenue opportunities

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage residential / commercial construction, restoration and renovation projects
  • Ability to understand, interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problemsolving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management software, CAD will be considered an asset
