A university degree or college diploma in marketing/business administration or related field

  • 2 years of administrative or customer service experience
  • Proven strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Strong data entry and computer skills (MS Office
  • Word, Excel), Outook.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative in seeking new opportunities and bring forward an action plan with mínimal supervision
  • Detailed oriented, pleasant personality, strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the Post-Secondary education and Career College system and an ability to thoroughly understand AAPS programs, services, and admission procedures
  • Experience working in a student recruitment capacity is an asset
  • Flexible to work days, evenings and occasionally on the weekends

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and responding to all student, staff and faculty inquiries, requests for information or assistance on any matter related to AAPS
  • Working to positively influence student enrollment in various programs
  • Meeting visitors at AAPS, evaluating and assessing student's eligibility for programs or scheduling followup appointments.
  • Updating and maintaining the AAPS educational support software
  • Updating and auditing student information on excel sheets. Ensuring data integrity and correctness.
  • Taking payments and revising invoices
  • Maintaining various college policies including privacy and confidentiality.
**Flexibility is a must, should be open to work days, evenings and weekends (Occasionally)

Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M3H 2T4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)

- receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
