We are currently looking for millwrights to join a food facility in Mitchell.

In order to qualify for this position, you must have a 433a ticket with a minimum of 1 years of experience.


Experience with automation, fillers, conveyors or case packers would be an asset

Hours - Mon – Thurs 12:30pm – 9:00pm, Fridays 7:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Operate refrigeration equipment with experience.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems quickly on refrigeration, hot water, and production equipment, as well as facilities and grounds.
  • Collaborate in a teamwork environment with other maintenance personnel.
- installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes rail assemblies, hydraulic assemblies, pneumatic assemblies and packaging machinery.

  • Engage in assigned projects.
  • Adhere to preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Accurately report all work done, parts and tools used, and required work for all plant equipment.
  • Fulfill other duties assigned by Maintenance Manager or designate.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications

  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A) required.
  • 1+ years' experience as an Industrial Millwright required; 5+ years' experience and Food Manufacturing plant experience ideal.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP trained preferred – Safety First mentality
  • Industrial plant maintenance experience in a food environment an asset but not necessary
  • You must be able to work in a refrigerated food facility with raw meat
