What could be more exciting than putting your mark on some of the world's most famous and well-loved fashion brands? We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our growing team in Montreal.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Draw technical sketches of clothing items;
Sketch the detailed sample garment, implementing any changes required;
Show all garment details and views (front, back and inside) on sketch to ensure accurate communication of the complete garment construction to vendors;
Create detailed tech packs in PLM System;
Maintain and update tech packs and recaps
Communicate with design, graphic design and production teams;
Enter styles in the style library;
Send / receive / and follow up on parcels to suppliers or customers;
Provide support to the design and graphic design teams when needed;
Follow up on various matters from team meetings.

Knowledge of outerwear is an asset
Fashion design diploma is required
2 years of experience in a similar role in the garment industry and/or manufacturing industry
Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Excellent organizational and presentation skills
Skills with PLM is an asset.
