Cashier (Front of House) Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide menu recommendations and actively upsell A&W's signature items
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and specials
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in customer service or sales roles is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Cook (Kitchen) Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook A&W menu items according to standardized recipes and procedures
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely order delivery
  • Assist with kitchen organization and cleaning duties as required

Requirements:

  • Experience as a cook or line cook in a fastpaced kitchen environment (not needed, but an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and a passion for cooking delicious meals
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
