RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Patient registration
  • Physician scheduling and booking appointments
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and deal with them appropriately.
  • Responsible for surgical bookings.
  • Billing submissions and handing private payments
  • Responsible for office administration
  • Escorting patients to examination rooms
  • Cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms and instruments

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program with Certificate is required.
  • Experice and familiarity with Accuro EMR
  • Minimum 2 years' experience required, with previous experience in a medical office environment within the last five years.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet established workload timelines with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to work independently and multitask.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
