You will be responsible for processing payroll, and administering employee changes and benefits in order to ensure that all employee data is accurately recorded into payroll and HRIS systems.

You will also act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

The role is hybrid and you will be required to come into the office about 2 days a month and as needed by the business.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll entries including new hires, payroll data changes, terminations, records of employment, etc.

and develop and maintain payroll-related documentation, processes and guidelinesMaintain the integrity and accuracy of the personnel database in the payroll system (ADP) and ensure compliance with payroll related policies and processes in order to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Ensure the proper processing of group benefits, leaves of absence, vacation and any other related HR program in accordance with applicable plans and internal processes.

Act as the main point of contact for payroll and benefit inquiries. Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLAs through the internal HR ticketing system.
Maintain accurate employee benefits and savings plan information with external service providers.
Create and run custom audit reports to verify payroll data such as overtime hours, accrued vacation, commissions, etc.

QualificationsHow To Excel In This RoleYou must hold a degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related fieldHave a solid knowledge of payroll employment standards in QuebecHolding a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation would be a strong assetHave a minimum of 2-3 years experience with the full payroll cycle, specifically QC-payroll processing experienceHave an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google SheetPosses experience working with ADP Workforce Now andWorkday HRIS would bean assetKnowledge of French (written and spoken) is mandatory as this role is based out of Quebec and French is the primary work language.
