Our retail Cannabis Retail Store Manager (SM) is crucial for providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. The SM works closely with company management to oversee day-to-day retail operations at the store.
About the Job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Help hire, supervise, and manage employees, ensuring all have a valid CannSell license
- Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking
- Coach team members, provide feedback for professional growth
- Train team members on procedures and policies
- Maintain written SOPs, ensure compliance
- Create staff schedules, resolve conflicts
- Lead by example in a high-volume store
Sales and Customer Service:
- Handle customer feedback and complaints
- Implement selling strategies, collaborate with marketing
- Analyze sales reports, track team performance
- Utilize incentives to drive sales
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and monthly revenue goals
Daily Operations:
- Maintain store compliance with regulations
- Assist with audits, opening/closing procedures
- Oversee security, cash management
- Manage facility maintenance, product stocking
- Coordinate inventory audits, disposal of expired products
- Communicate with the team, uphold HR policies
- Ensure clean, organized store environment
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and process management
- AGCO CannSell license and clean record check required
- 5-6+ years retail management experience
- Knowledge of Cannabis industry laws and regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, achievement-oriented, and flexible
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
