What We Require:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a spotless commercial driver's abstract
- Eligibility for bonding and transportation of hazardous goods (TDG) certification
- Robust mechanical skills
- Professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Physically capable of lifting, stacking, and moving heavy items (up to 80 lbs) due to prior experience
- Strong communication and customer service abilities with proficient English fluency
- Prior professional driving background is advantageous
- Able to work in various weather conditions and on different road types
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working autonomously as well as in a team
- Goal-driven with a positive and proactive attitude
- Punctuality and keen attention to details are essential
Responsibilities Include:
- Accurate unloading of products, recording delivery details, processing payments if necessary, and ensuring overall vehicle safety
- Delivering exceptional service to nurture and sustain strong customer bonds
- Manually unloading food items, transporting them to designated locations, and utilizing ramps and occasionally stairs
- Safely driving straight trucks or trailers to transport goods across various routes
- Conducting pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining precise records of routes, temperature logs, and delivery counts
- Validating product deliveries at customer sites and managing invoices
- Adhering to health, safety, and work regulations
