Casual positions provide flexibility in scheduling, with hours that are not guaranteed and may vary. Shifts may be assigned on short notice. Shifts will be scheduled during the day, rotating between 08:00 and 20:00 hours.

SCH - Slocan Community Health Centre:
The Slocan Community Health Centre caters to the communities of New Denver, Silverton, Slocan, and Rosebery. This rural health center includes a residential unit with 30 beds and a 24-hour emergency department. Situated on the eastern shore of Slocan Lake, the center offers breathtaking views of the Valhalla Mountains, reaching over 2,100 meters on the opposite shore. Water enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, sailing, fishing, and water skiing. In the winter, residents engage in downhill and cross-country skiing, as well as snowmobiling.
